I meant to

"I didn't send this when I meant to,
didn't add to it as I meant to,
but it is, at least, a response."

[from a known but not disclosed author]

The words are not mine, but I can see myself on them...

There are moments when the time seems to go faster and faster, that the days follow the nights, and the months the weeks in a such fast sequence that I can barely grasp all the things that pass by. On those times I wish to have a couple more of hours per day to do all what I meant to. I know that if I do not do things at once [this is, right away] they just get postponed "ad eternum". The good timing might be lost, and even if for me the meaning is still there it might no longer be for others.
So I started to realise that [even] a simple response, should not be seen from the "at least" perspective but rather from the "already" perspective  [as in "but it is, already, a response."]. Not counting with the very specific cases where the silence might be a good response a  [even smal] "response is better than no response at all". ;)

We live in a fast paced society, [or at least we are convinced of that]
but if we can take the time to give an answer
it might brighter someone's day. [and it might mean a lot to them too!!] ;)

[Thank you!!]
